RestROOMs

{For Children 2+ Years}

Once the children enter into the Jungle Room, they will begin using our main restrooms for all of their diapering and bathroom needs. Each class will take frequent, scheduled bathroom breaks as a group throughout the day, and extra trips can be taken individually as needed.

All bathroom visits are supervised by our teachers and/or their assistants, so no child will ever be left in a bathroom unattended. We work closely with the families to help get their toddlers potty trained once they are ready, and we also implement sticker charts as a way to positively encourage the children to become potty trained.

For those who are still in diapers or pull ups, we have shelving in the restrooms that hold baskets with each child’s name on them (not pictured for privacy purposes). Inside, we keep the child’s diapers, wipes, diaper rash cream, and spare clothing so that they are close by during changes. We will let you know via Brightwheel if your child is running low on diapers or wipes so that he/she does not run out while at school.

{As a side note: our restrooms also double as our tornado shelters should we ever experience severe weather during hours of operation.}
